Have had a blessed and wonderful life, every year, SO FAR!<\/p>\n
Went to Univ of MN, for MBA, got married to Judy in 1965, joined Dow Chemical in 1965 and retired in 1996.\u00a0 While at Dow, I held most every Sales and Marketing position in Specialty Chemicals ran businesses, Chemicals and Plastics sales forces, worked in 8 different US locations \u2013 had a great career.<\/p>\n
Wonderful Family \u2013 Libby, lives outside Fredericksburg VA, married to Matt, a Commonwealth Attorney, they have 8 children ages 17-1.\u00a0 Stefanie, lives in Leawood KS, married to Tim, an Operations Director for a start-up industrial search engine company, they have 3 children ages 10-5.\u00a0 Christian, lives in Shaker Hts. OH, a banker for PNC, married to Amy, they have 3 kids ages 7-1.\u00a0 6 adult children and 14 grands!\u00a0 It\u2019s the best!<\/p>\n
Judy and I enjoy good health, each other, and chasing \u201cgrand\u2019s\u201d.\u00a0 We are annual hosts for a contestant in the HH International Piano Competition, and go to the local symphony and theatre.\u00a0 We travel \u2013 especially overseas.\u00a0 Last big trip was a cruise from Hong Cong to Athens by way of Vietnam, Bangkok, Singapore, KL, India, Oman, Petra Jordan, and Egypt.\u00a0 After Athens, we flew to Damascus, then car to Amman and into Israel for 8 days.\u00a0 A trip of a lifetime!\u00a0 We are up in the air about going to Kenya \u2013 your advice is welcome!<\/p>\n Kenyon gave me my first exposure to a much more diverse group of people than I had experienced and that taught me people acceptance and understanding. We had to write papers \u2013 a lot of them \u2013 and that skill has been so valuable over the last 50 years.\u00a0 While at Kenyon, I developed 4 close friends (fellow DKE\u2019s) and good fortune allowed Judy and I maintain those relationships for a number of years \u2013 sadly, they have all passed on.<\/p>\n Looking forward to seeing all of you again!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Stewart D Brown Kenyon 1962 West Wing Have had a blessed and wonderful life, every year, SO FAR!
